Day 189

Observations on the way from there to there.

  • In the south, speed limits are merely suggestions …unless you are in Lawtey, Florida.

  • Streets are not needed when divided highways and U-Turns will do.

  • Southerners advertise erectile dysfunction cures on billboards… and vasectomies, and sex shops.

  • Sixty mile-per-hour roadways, with stoplights, are ubiquitous in the south.

The only hills in Florida traverse bridges.

Southern gas stations are masters of bait and switch, advertising one gas price and charging another.

You can grow accustomed to being tailgated everywhere.
